I like it when you share your opinions.

Last week for work we put on a huge conference, resulting in my working around 50 hours in 3.25 days. I know a lot of you probably work that much all the time, but I normally work 20 hours in a week. I have a pretty cushy life right now, and I like it that way.

Needless to say I am taking work off this week to balance out my work hours and get caught up on school. Why am I telling you this, you ask? Because when I stay home and do homework all day, like I am doing this week, I don't put on cute clothes. I wear extra large men's v-necks and leggings. Hot. Not worth showing to you.

So, today we are going to do something else. Something like this post we did once before. Here is what you do:

Below you will see five items that are "in" right now, but that I am still forming a personal opinion about. All you gotta do is share your honest thoughts about them. Here they are:

Easy enough right? We'll let it simmer for a couple of days then share what everybody is thinkin. Okay. Go.

Yours truly,

  1. I love the first three. For some reason I can't get behind Oxfords and I feel pretty neutral on fedoras.

(not sure why rompers get so much hate. I have a couple and they're cute and comfy.)

  2. I love all of them! How's that for vague? But really, I do. I don't think I can pull off bright lips, but I love the look on other people

  3. I hate the oversize shirt. Gross.

I like bright lips, but definitely not for me.

I like the rompers and oxfords.

I don't usually wear hats, so that's really not my thing. Hope that helps! :)

  4. I love them all except rompers (gross). . .I think I always have and the rest of the world is just now catching up on my fashion sense :)

  5. Oversized shirts...I've only ever managed to look like an idiot in them...soooo, I'm not a fan yet.

Bright lips - not for me - I have too much color in my cheeks and look like a clown

Rompers - I don't want to have to get naked to go pee.

    Oxfords - cute

    Fedoras - sure

:) Enjoy your oversized shirts and leggings! Sounds like a comfy week!

  6. I love all of them except maybe the romper. I just think they won't look that great on me and they are usually pretty short. I love the bright lips especially!

  7. I'm ok on oversized shirts in moderation and only when paired with the right bottoms.

No to bright lips (my husband hates when I wear anything but chapstick anyway).

H to the no to rompers.

    Oxfords I like.

    Love fedoras!

  8. I'm a fan of oversize shirts. Mostly because I don't like feeling restricted when I wear clothes. Tight shirts make me uncomfortable.

Bright lips = duh. My favorite is Orange Flip by Revlon.

Rompers - just the shorts kind. Nothing else/longer.

I'll take ballet flats over oxfords every day.

And fedoras belong on my head alwayz.

  9. I love all of those trends EXCEPT oxfords. Pretty much can't stand those. I just don't get it. The only one of those trends that I feel like I can pull off is the oversized shirt. I just don't think I would wear a romper enough to justify buying it.

  10. I LOVER oversized shirts, bright lips and oxfords. Seriously, oversized shirts are the bomb, so comfy and breezy! Bright lips can chic-ify any look. and oxfords are sophisticated, classy, and vintage.

Not sure about rompers, I feel like my butt looks weird in them.

Fedoras? I really didn't know these were still in! I thought they were more of a yester-year thing.

  11. Oversized shirts = don't like them.
Bright lips = love 'em! wish i could pull it off a bit better.
Rompers = you gotta get the right one. shorts rompers are definitely the cutest type.
Oxfords = make people look granny, not vintage.
    Fedoras = super cute!

  12. I was like, What the H is a romper?! But I see what it is. And...it's cute, but I wouldn't wear it.
I like the oversize shirts. As long as what you're wearing on the bottom is in proportion to the oversize shirt. Which is what I'm wearing today actually!
    The bright lips...not a fan.
    The fedora...not a fan.
    The oxfords...not a fan.

  13. LOVE oversized tees and like bright lips, just not on me...

    HATE rompers and oxfords...

    Neutral on the fedora...

  14. Not really into the whole oxford trend -- I don't hate them, but I don't love them either. Fedoras and oversized shirts are good by me, and while I love the bright lip trend, I'm kind of unsure how to pull it off myself. Rompers? Meh. Kind of depends. Some look like something a preschooler would wear; others are cute. I guess if it's the right kind, I'd say go for it!

  15. 1)I am loving the oversized shirt thing...now if only I had some! :)
2)I love bright colors, so this is a HUGE yes from me!! I need to find just the right shade of bright though :)
3)I think rompers are cute {but not this one pictured}, but they do NOT look good on me. I have tried and tried to no avail! :( Sad day!!
4)I can't get into oxfords. I think some look cute on other people, but for the most part, not a huge fan.
5)Loving the fedoras. Some styles don't look right on me, but I am a hat person so I say, go for it! :)

  16. 1) I like oversized shirts, and I think I'm actually going to make a few (with a tutorial!) in the next couple days.
    2) I've always loved a bright red lip, and it's nice to see some corals and peaches and pinks entering the scene, too. A girl's gotta have options, no?
    3)I don't get rompers. Blech.
4)Same with Oxfords--too masculine for me. Or maybe it was the fact that I was forced to wear them as a kid?
5)I think fedoras are super cute, but I don't have one. Maybe I'll get brave and wear one sometime soon.

  17. Don't like: the oxfords, and SOME rompers are hideous. but some are cute... and the bright lips are hard to pull off.

  18. I'm one of those people who thinks rompers give people diaper butt. Not attractive.

The other ones are cute. I am loving the bright lip trend this summer.

  19. Umm, I like all of them?
    I just wouldn't wear bright lips :)

It's interesting to see everyone's opinions!

  20. oversized shirts- i love, but not if they're cropped. i feel like the cropped ones only look good on the models wearing them for ads

bright lips i like, as long as the color isn't too weird, but unfortunately my hubby doesn't like it when i put my bright pink lips stain on :(

i think rompers are cute on some people, but only the short ones (which i can't wear anyway)

    i looooooove oxfords

and fedoras i think are cute, but i'm not brave enough to wear one

  21. oversized tshirts have my heart. i've never been a fan of tight shirts that hug too close to the body.

bright lips. work for some people and not so much for others. i put myself into the not so much category.

rompers. obsessed. love them. i sure wish the pant rompers didn't drown me.

oxfords. also obsessed. sure wish they made super cute ones like that in my size. my child sized feet hate their life.

fedoras. so maybe this makes me seem like i just follow the "in" style. because i love fedoras. alotttt.

  22. 1, Oversized Shirts: Depending on your body type, this could look great or be a disaster

2, Bright Lips: I think they really emphasize if your teeth color is anything other than pearly, glistening white

    3, Rompers: Love em!

4, Oxfords: Don't personally care for 'em, but I have seen other people work 'em and look good.

5, Fedoras: Love them for casual occassions

  23. Don't have to ask me twice to share an opinion :)

1- Oversized shirts: adorable. Casual way to keep it cute and breezy in summertime heat. I'm from the south, so it's essential!

    2. Bright Lips: beautiful on fair skin, if you have a glowing tan sometimes it can look like your face is going day-glo.

    3. Rompers: no. Unless you're 5'10 and 110 lbs, they emphasize all the wrong things.

    4. Oxfords: Undecided. You have to have very thin or long legs to pull them off without looking squatty.

    5. Fedoras: LOVE. Casual, chic... Pair 'em with a dress, with shorts, with jeans, with an oversized t-shirt and bright lips!

  24. Oversized shirts - I LOVE them .. so comfy during the Summer.

Bright Lips - I wouldn't wear bright lipstick, but if you have the right skin tone I guess they would look good.

Rompers - Yes!! I still do not own one, but I'm on the search for a good deal.

Oxfors - I used to think they were ugly before, but they have grown on me and now I want to have one in tan.

Fedoras - they look cool, but I wouldn't imagine myself wearing one.

  25. oversized shirt: definitely

bright lips: yes, but proceed with caution

rompers: if you're wearing it as a swim suit cover and don't weigh much:)

oxfords: yes. but I don't think all are made equal. I'm picky about em

fedora hat: own one but rarely wear it. don't know why though because I love them on other people.

  26. Oversized shirts: i understand because i'm totally not into showing off my muffin top. and I'm all for eating large meals and not feeling like the whole restaurant can tell i just downed a plate of food that could easily feed a small village.
    Bright lips: i'm over it.
rompers: H to the E to the double L no. unless you're under the age of 4 and then i say go for it.
Oxfords: i see this quickly leaving as a trend. but now that i say that it will stay forever. and ever. so go ahead and just go for those, everyone else is.
Fedoras: meh. it's definitely a style you have to own. just sayin'.

  27. Oversized shirts -- only cute when paired with something appropriate on bottom. Also, not a look everyone call pull off.

Bright lips -- only cute on certain skin tones.

Rompers -- blech... But I guess when I was 6 and growing up in the 80s I thought they were sweet. :/

Oxfords -- not all are created equal but overall I think they are super cute. I don't even care if they make me look like a granny, I want a pair.

Fedoras -- neutral. I wouldn't wear one but I think some girls can pull them off.
