Pinned/Tried/FAILED

YOU GUYS. I had the most amazing plans for today's post. You have no idea. Let me tell you about it.

I have been seeing this pin of healthy chocolate frosting shots all over Pinterest and they look so good! I decided to make it and put it in an Oreo pie crust with whipped cream on top. OMG. So yum, right? And healthy chocolate mousse? HELLO. That means I could totally justify eating the whole pie. Like it wouldn't even be a big deal at all. And then I was going to feature it in a Pinned/Tried/Loved It post and you were all going to be so impressed with me and my domestication skills.

Well I was wrong. It was unbelievably not yum. In fact, this is a picture of my pie in the garbage. Because it. was. nasty. I am not a picky eater at all, especially when it comes to dessert. I will eat pretty much anything sweet. But this was a major no go. Barf pie.

So then, panicking because I needed something good to post today, I decided to try this, this, and this ombre nail tutorial. Well, here is evidence of how that went:

Needless to say, it is not as easy as the cute little pins make it look. Not even close.

Anyway, this post is for all of you who have ever failed at something you tried on Pinterest. You are not alone. We should start a club... The Pinned/Tried/FAILED club. I would really love that. So, if you wanna join the club, please share in the comments if you have ever had a Pinterest fail like I did. Please. It will make me feel much better.

Have a great day!
xo, S

Disclaimer: I don't know if the pie recipe actually produces barf pie or if the nail tutorial is a total scam. Maybe I did them wrong. Maybe I am not domestic enough to create a pie inspired by a Pinterest recipe. And maybe I just suck at nails. I don't know. I don't want to take away the credit of those who created the pins. They probably just have special skills that I don't have. Thanks for understanding.
