It's pretty much summer.

It's Tuesday, and I have the day off, and it's sunny and 80 degrees outside. Can you believe?? So, in celebration, I am going to go run errands as fast as I can, and then I am going to go spread out a blanket at the park and take a nap in the sun, and then maybe I will wake up and go home and make a tropical smoothie and drink it on my doorstep. Because it's pretty much summer.

And because it's pretty much summer, and because we don't have air conditioning (CURSE), I also plan to wear only clothes that are as light as possible. Otherwise, I get really hot and really mad, and there is no place for that in my summery dream day. So today I am avoiding all anger with this comfy lightweight dress that was such a steal and is total summer staple:

So, ya.

So, ya, I'm reeeeally pregnant.

And my hands and feet got nice and swollen yesterday for the first time. And all of a sudden I no longer had bones in my feet, just squishy stuff. And my fingers were the size of carrots. You know, the big ones like you see Bugs Bunny carrying around, not the baby kind in bags. And also it was HOT yesterday. And clothes are just the worst things ever. And so is sitting, and laying, and standing, and walking. And all I want is to eat cold things all day, and by cold things, I mean frozen desserts, with Reese's in them. Duh.

So pretty much my dream life right now would be to be shot into outer space where I could float around weightless and nakey (cause there's no one around up there, obvi) armed with my newly enlarged feet and hands helping me to navigate the universe. And hopefully there's a Sonic up there too, like at the international space station or something. A girls gotta eat.

So, ya.

Five Things Friday.

1. This incredibly easy tutorial for an extra long, lightweight maxi skirt, which I will be making, and most likely posting about, in the near future. I have big plans for this thing. Watch for it.

2. These amazing coconut-walnut-chocolate chip-sweetened condensed milk brownies that are part of our childhood, and that I made on Sunday and have been enjoying sooooo much ever since.

3. I know that this video is probably the most boring thing ever included on Five Things. And I know that working out sucks. And I know that Jillian kinda bugs. I know all these things. But it's only a 20 minute workout, it's only $6.64 on Amazon, it has made me really sore, and I just really like it.

4. These amazing nude shoes that I saw on the Anthro website for $288...

... and then these Nine West ones that I got at ROSS for 21.99. SCORE.

5. This HILAR video of Miranda singing with Pentatonix. I laugh so hard when I watch any of her videos, so if you aren't familiar with her, it's time for you to do that.

The DIY Nursery Series: I heart spray paint.

Today you get to see almost the whooooole nursery! I am very excited by this. You might be excited that this means this series is almost over. Either way we win. Especially because today is all about the thing I love most right after my husband, the babe in my tummy, and DQ Blizzards: spray paint. So much of what went into our nursery was either thrifted or upcycled from things we already had laying around and then hosed down with spray paint. SO affordable and so fun, especially if you use glossy, because then everything looks shiny, and I like shiny things.

It's Monday. The weekend was too good. 

So, now the dilema is, what do I say on a bummer Monday morning? 

Let's see. Per my normal posting fare, you should know the weather is fine today so I have nothing to complain about. I don't have a baby in my belly, I didn't recently get bangs, nor do I have any other exciting events to share with you. Also, I haven't really even been shopping for a while, so I can't you show you my latest steal. So, I guess I should say right now it's weird but great just to be having a normal life, without bangs or babies or much out of the ordinary. I think I'll take that kind of life even though it doesn't lend itself well to blog fodder. 

However, I guess if things don't pick up soon I could start a rumor or something. Like that the real reason we aren't showing our faces is because one of us doesn't even have a face, it's just skin with holes poked in it, while the other one dated Justin Beiber for a little while which resulted in a lot of death threats which forced one of us into the witness protection program for our own Justin Beiber-loving safety.

Or you know, something like that. 

Oh yes, and I always love a good collage to liven up a Monday post. Like this one of the cool watercolor Vera Wang tops at Kohls that are all on sale right now, just like the one that I'm wearing. I love them. So fun and funky, and perfect for adding color to an outfit, or a Monday.

Five Things Friday.

1. Remember this post where I had a mini-nervous breakdown over the pressure Pinterest puts on me? Well, I have now found the most fantastic outlet for my love/hate relationship with the site. Have you ever been to Pinterest, You are Drunk? Well, I freaking love it. It pulls all of the crazy from Pinterest and puts it one place. It's hysterical. And will heal all of the feelings of inadequacy and stress you may feel from your hours spent on Pinterest. Or, at the very least it will remind you that you are one of the normal ones using the site. You gotta go. Look how funny: 

2. Ah, spring. You were here in Utah yesterday, and now you are long gone, and you left a blanket of snow behind you that I want to punch in the face. However, that won't keep me of dreaming of springy things, like all of the blushy/peachy/pinky things you can find at F21 right now, all for under $20:
