Pinned/Tried/Loved It: Paint-Dipped Wooden Utensils

I love finding simple upgrades to everyday things that make a big impact. Like putting on a bright belt with a plain outfit or adding oreos to plain vanilla ice cream. Soooo simple, but holy yum, ya know? This week's pinned/tried/loved it was just that, a simple upgrade with a holy yum impact.

There were 2 original posts that I pinned for this project, one here and one here. Both took a slightly different take, but both were darling. Then, after I pinned, I tried. Here's what I did:

The great thing about this project is that you probably have all of the supplies lying around your house already. I had everything except for the utensils, so I bought a set at HomeGoods for just 3.99. However, if you have your own rolling around in your utensil drawer then this is a great way to upcycle old ones.

Supplies needed:
A set of wooden utensils
Craft paint in whatever colors
Painters tape
Paint brushes

Wrap your painters tape around the handle so that you'll have a sharp line when you paint.

Paint, sister! Paint!

Let dry.

Take off the tape, and voila!

Holy yum, right?
Yep, I pinned it, I tried it, and I looooved it.
