Five Things Friday (Hair Edition)

So, we know that our blog revolves around headless pics, but that doesn't mean we don't try to keep our hair healthy, look for different easy hairstyles, and experiment with all arrays of cuts and colors. In fact, we probably give as much care to our heads as we do to our closets, but hair is also STRESSFUL. Grow or cut? What color will make people most easily mistake me for Gisele Bundchen? How do I tame these freaking split ends? It's enough to make a girl want to rip her hair out, which, in this post's case, would be extremely counterproductive. Yes, navigating the world of hair can sure be 'hairy,' so for today's five things we've put together a couple of our favorite hair helps.

1. The Small Things Blog, which is written by a genius hair dresser who has a realistic and attainable hair length/style and teaches all kinds of fun and easy ways to do hair.

2. This darling crochet headband/earwarmer that I want so bad. PERFECT for making any bad hair day good. And p.s. this girl is totally a crocheting wizard, she shares her tutorials, and has amazing style going on. Go on over.

3.This recipe for homemade hot oil treatment that I am trying ASAP because I already have all the ingredients and you probably do too. You also HAVE to visit this post on the FABULOUS beauty department website about their hair boot camp. It is THE best hair-health reference guide I have seen and super easy to follow.

4. This video on how to do a sock bun. Genius when you don't have enough hair to make a big bun. And I think this girl is kinda hilarious.

5. The fab HANAair Professional hair dryer we were so graciously given by Misikko. I usually never blow dry my hair because I have fragile hair that breaks so easily and each time I take any heat to it, I can tell that damage has been done each time. But that is not the case with this blow dryer. It's an investment product for sure, and, I tell you, it is WORTH it. My hair has NEVER looked or felt better after a blow dry. MIRACLE worker.

What are your favorite hair tips/tricks? We'd LOVE to hear!!
Hope you have a great weekend with lots of good hair days!
