1. So many loved ones (family and friends). Can't image life without them since mine are EXTRA good.
3. Pinterest. The ultimate blessing and curse. I find myself subconsciously typing that URL into my browser far too often, but I sure am thankful for the creativity and thrift it inspires in me.
4. I belong to this church. And I could not be more thankful for it's influence in my life and the message of peace and hope it gives to the world and to me. It's really something. Have you ever watched these videos about our faith? I think I have seen all of them and think they are the greatest. This is probably one of the most popular out there, because Brandon Flowers is awwwwesome.
5. Service Opportunities. And we've got 2 to tell you about. The first is over at Mindy Marie's blog. This amazing lady is currently holding an auction on her blog for a family VERY much in need. Read about what she is doing here, see what we donated for her auction here, and while your there take a look at all of the other fabulous things she is auctioning off, and bid on a couple, wontcha?
Next, we were recently told about an amazing organization that helps save premature infants in intensive care through breast milk donation. Helping Hands Milk Bank is in need of healthy moms who can donate their excess milk. For every ounce donated, $1 is contributed to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, in support of breast cancer research. Donated milk is used to manufacturer nutritional products made by Prolacta Bioscience. Breast-feeding mother or not, you can help by spreading the word to find those mothers who can donate. To apply or for more information, visit www.HelpingHandsbank.com.
Helping others makes us even MORE thankful for what we've got. And we've got A LOT.
