Five Things Friday.

1. The 40% off sale happening right now in store at Old Navy. Me, S, and our dear Mother hit it up and we made out like bandits! We are talking cropped skinnies for $1.50 and cardigans for $4. GET THERE. Today I am wearing this little number that I got for $6 in store with the sale:

It makes me feel like I am on safari or something and I like it. And speaking of safari's...on to #2:

2. Look at the sassy leopard manicure S gave me yesterday:

Meowwww.
Everyone deserves to have a sister like S.

3. Melissa Shoes:

Last year I lived in Sao Paulo, Brazil for a few months while my husband worked there. Sao Paulo is the fashion capital of Brazil and everyone always looked FABULOUS. And they all wore Melissa's, so naturally I became obsessed with them. Their stores in Brazil were the most unique and amazing shops I had ever seen. The shoes are made entirely out of plastic, are shockingly comfortable, are perfect for spring, and they have started popping up in boutiques here is the U.S. I adore mine. They are so pretty.

4. These mini-cheesecakes I made this week, following this recipe from the scrumptious Paula Deen:

Insanely easy, insanely delicious.

5. It is only fitting to post this video of  Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon's remake of Rebecca Black's Friday since it finally is Friday. S and I died when we watched it. And if you haven't seen the original Friday video, brace yourself, and then go here.

Yes, it's true. You will now be singing it in your head all day.
It was sorta worth it though, don't you think?
We we we so excited, we so excited!

Happy Friday Friends!
Have a lovely weekend!

  2. I want that shirt....and the cheesecake. But I always want cheesecake.

I'm learning that song on the ukulele. Is that strange? I also know Mmmmbop. Something tells me no one will ever want to hear me play. Oh, well. My husband listens.

    Happy Friday!

  4. I can only buy from Old Navy from their website, and shipping to Malta costs €68 (about $100). So yeah, practically I can't buy Old Navy clothes from anywhere.
