- Maxi dress: Of course these all depend on body types and styling, but for the most part, I think maxi dresses give the illusion of really long legs and are super fun for summer.
- Shorts over tights: I love it... on other people. I think its classy and creative and a perfect way to mix fun colors and patterns.
- Flare (FLARE!) pants: I'll go ahead and say that I am just not into the enormous flares. I'm more into timeless pieces, and I think these are on their way out sooner rather than later. Also, I really like my shoes to not be hidden under giant pant legs.
- Lace-up boots: I'm just going to say no.
- Fur vests: Currently being in the mindset of having a workable closet and re-mixable clothing, I would probably give this one a no, simply for functionality. Other than that, I have no problem.
- Large, fake glasses: I just don't understand wearing glasses if you don't need glasses. Also, I think they hide important facial features, and never have they improved anyone's appearance. And while some people look super cute in them, overall I am going to say no go.
Now, is anyone else totally over 30 for 30? Maybe I am just because I am like the only person in the world who did it for 30 CONSECUTIVE days, which makes it the most maddening project ever. Needless to say, tomorrow is day 30, and I could not be happier. Except now I am afraid that I will never want to wear my 30 chosen items ever again. See days 27-29 below.

I think the bar chart really shows the diversity between bloggers! Loved that the results were really mixed.
ReplyDeleteGreat outfits S. Especially day 28! x
Bows and Pearls
I am so over the 30x30. And I feel like you can tell with my outfits. Might just have to do what you did here and post a few days in a row in one post. I've worn a 30x30 outfit everyday just not taken the pictures, might be time for some back posting.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you opinions... but I love my lace up boots! Still working up the courage to wear my maxi skirt though.
LOVE day 28!
I have worn my 30 items everyday. For the 29 days. I will be happy to have my clothes back. I will say 30 for 30 made it a little bit easier to get dress in the morning.

Ah yes. The first time I did it, I forced myself to take pictures and post every day for 30 days. I was totally burnt out.
ReplyDeleteThis time, I have worn 30 for 30 clothes everyday, but I loosened up my picture schedule. Made it much easier on myself.
The Auspicious Life
Hi! My mom shared your blog with me - I LOVE it! I am totally subscribing :) Come stop by mine too if you would like!
ReplyDeleteI'm so just gonna steal outfit 29 right outta your closet. That whole ensemable is perfect. I have actually done this 30 for 30 consecutively, which means tomorrow is the end. And how am I going to celebrate? Half-off day at Salvation Army!
ReplyDeleteThis was my first time around doing the 30 for 30 and yes, I am SO over it! I have learned a lot, don't get me wrong, but I eagerly await the addition of new spring styles.
ReplyDeleteLove you style, btw. Looking forward to your post remix OOTD.

I love the 30x30 but I would miss my other clothes so much. I know you got shoes for a gift, and now you get to wear them!

ReplyDeleteHey, I just wanted to jump in really quick and say that I think people might have misunderstood what you meant with the "big fake glasses" - I was thinking of those enormous old-Hollywood style SUNglasses, which a lot of people still like a lot (including me). The fake regular glasses trend? So over it! Especially as a nearly blind, real glasses wearer - why oh why would anybody do that to themselves?
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! Wish I would have won the houndstooth give-away. :(
Ah well, next time! :)
[Sorry I had a typo in my previous post]
hey hey hey, i have been doing 30 for 30 for all the days. i am tired too!
ReplyDeleteI just stumbled across your blog and I love it. I'm getting married and living with my sister now, and it's much more fun to have 2 closets rather than one! Fabulous outfits ladies :)
